biography
For over 25 years, Ben Asen has lived and worked in New York City — often the subject of his camera in his spare time. Professionally, Ben specializes in corporate and editorial photography for use in print media including brochures, annual reports, books, newspapers and magazines.
Ben
has a real talent for photographing people in their own environment and
is known for doing his homework on each subject before picking up his camera.
No matter what the assignment, Ben always brings the same level of creativity
and passion to each shoot.
Ben has had several exhibitions of his work around the world, including in New York, London and Frankfurt.
His photographs have illustrated numerous books, including the recently published FAO Schwarz: Toys For A Lifetime, Me by Me: the Pets.com Sock Puppet Book and The Insomniac's Handbook.
